How human and natural resources are developed for the improvement of a country.

How to improve Natural resources

  • ·         We can improve our land by preserving our forests by replanting trees after they have been cut down, peacefully protesting against illegal logging in our communities and proposing to our leaders that laws must be passed to state that only a limited number of trees must be cut down per year.
  • ·         We can also try to ensure that only two mature trees are removed from forest areas.
  • ·         We can also practice the three R’s which are reduce, reuse and recycle. To reduce means to use less of our resources by practicing moderate use. Reusing means to practice using materials over again.
  • ·         Conserving soil is another method which includes adding compost which is a mixture of decomposed organic matter to soil. This is done to improve the quality of soil. Practicing better farming methods is another suitable solution. One particular method is No- tillage. A particular farming method to avoid is monoculture, which is when a single crop is planted throughout a field.

How to develop human resources

  • ·         Teaching citizens skills such as problem solving, technical skills and vocational skills such as event planning, arts and crafts, electrical repairs, hair styling and home cleaning.
  • ·         Providing education for citizens.
  • ·         Financial assistance
